Book Club
The Books.Faith.Life. Collective

Next Mtg:  Thurs 4.30.26  7pm EST

Theme:      Identity

Book:         And David Perceived He Was King by Dale Mast

Identity changes everything. David didn't become king when he put on the crown; he became king when he recognized who he was. A single verse shows a quiet but powerful shift in his story.  (It has nothing to do with Goliath.)  This book invites us into the same realization and outcome. Join us! More info below.

A monthly space for reading, reflection, connection and intentional growth.

Join me on the last day of each month for an engaging session designed to process where you've been and prepare for what's next.

Each month, we gather as a collective to explore a carefully selected book centered on spiritual growth, transformation and living with intention.

To honor your time, we move at a sustainable pace - reading half the book one month and completing it the next - so you can engage deeply without overwhelm (because life is life-ing)

To honor your budget, selected books are FREE - in the public domain, at your local library or via your library's Hoopla or Libby online service.

All sessions are held live on Zoom at 7pm EST, with a focus on:

  • teaching

  • reviewing the prior month

  • resetting your heart and mindset

  • moving forward with clarity and intention

Come as you are.

Grow at your pace.

Move forward with intention.

$20 pr month /  Live on Zoom / Replay available/ Link sent after registration

Q & A

1. Why is the session held on the last day of the month instead of a fixed date?

I chose the last day of the month intentionally - it's a built-in moment to pause instead of rushing into what's next.  We take time to reflect and receive before stepping into the new month with purpose.

2. What happens during each session?

Each session includes:

  • Christ-focused, guided discussion of the reading

  • Reflection on the past month

  • Intention-setting for the month ahead

  • Connection with others who are also committed to growth.

This is more than a book club; it's growing in community, hearing different perspectives and realizing you're not alone in your journey.

3. Do I need to finish the book before attending?

No. We read each book over two months, so you can participate even if you're still in progress. The goal is savoring the story and soaking in the lessons, not speed. (Of course you can finish and re-read as well. Whatever works for you!)

4. Where do I get the books?

All books are either free (public domain) or available through libraries, Hoopla or Libby so there is no extra cost required. At the final session for one book, you'll receive the title and link for the next book.

5. Will sessions be recorded?

Yes, a reply will be available for those who can't attend live.

6. Is this group therapy?

No, this is a guided group experience centered on reading, reflection and personal growth.

7. Can I work with you one-on-one?

Yes, the Collective is a great starting point and there is the opportunity to partner if you'd like deeper support.
